Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has admitted that the club's
transfer budget this summer will be significantly dented should they not
qualify for the Champions League. You can Buy Champions League Final Tickets online to enjoy its stunning

Spurs missed an opportunity to close the gap on Chelsea this
weekend as they drew against Burnley on Saturday night, leaving them eighth in
the table.
Jose Mourinho's side is just one point ahead of rivals
Arsenal, with the Gunners having a game in hand. Spurs trail Chelsea in fourth
place by seven points following their win against Everton at Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham fans were annoyed following just one incoming deal
in the January transfer window as Steven Bergwijn arrived from PSV Eindhoven.
However, injuries to Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have left
them short in attack and struggling to keep their Champions League challenge on
course.
And at a meeting with Tottenham Hotspur Supporters'
Trust last week, Daniel Levy admitted that where they finish in the league this
season will have a bearing on how much money Mourinho has to spend in the
summer.
Levy was asked whether Spurs would be active in the transfer
market to remain competitive, and the minutes from the meeting state that he
"re-emphasized that he doesn't believe there's a direct correlation
between winning and spending money. It's about making the right decisions.
"Funds were ring-fenced for the summer; however not
qualifying for the Champions League would have an impact all around.
The co-chair of the Supporters' Trust, Katrina Law, stated
that: "most fans didn’t expect the club to spend big but there have been
several times over the past decade when we seemed to be a couple of players
away from greater success and failed to bolster in those areas. Have others
been smarter in their recruitment?"
Levy "commented that external perceptions of transfers
can be different from the facts and also to what a manager might wish to
do."
